This full time role reports into the Service Manager at the Manchester site and is responsible for supporting the Service Manager in the effective running of the service department. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable, the successful candidate will ideally possess experience of working within a workshop environment. The ideal person may be a service advisor or workshop controller seeking advancement to this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Face to face interaction with customers on a daily basis
- Carrying out customer invoicing to ensure invoices are billed correctly and paid for
- Ordering parts required for vehicles in accordance with the Service Manager
- Supporting the Service Manager in the organisation of the Motor Technicians
Skills and experience required:
- Experience of working within a workshop environment
- Display a flexible and customer focussed attitude.
- Be aware of cost control and have good communication skills
- Hold a full UK driving licence

| Motor Technician
|
The role is responsible for ensuring that all
vehicles are fully inspected to a roadworthy
condition and the required paperwork is completed
and documented correctly. Carrying out general
repairs and servicing as necessary whilst working
to a tight schedule and constantly maintaining
a high standard of workmanship.
Principle Accountabilities
Carry out pre sale inspections in line with
company policy and daily targets.
Ensure all parts are ordered accurately and
in line with company procedures.
Carry out Sold inspections which comprises of
a 78 point final check.
Accurately record details in accordance with
workshop paperwork.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Ideally you will be qualified to City and Guilds
parts 1 & 2 or NVQ level 3.
Have a least four years previous experience
as a Motor Mechanic.
Display a flexible and customer focussed attitude.
Be aware of cost control and have good communication
skills
Hold a full UK driving licence.
